Loch Raven Trails
It is deer hunting season at Loch Raven, and hunters and hikers should respect one another during this time. Without hunters, the reservoir would be overrun with deer, which decimate native plant populations and are dangerous to drivers when crossing roads.
Deer Bow Hunting Season Dates: 9/6 - 10/16, 10/20 - 11/29, 12/16 - 12/20, 1/6 - 1/31
- Check our Trail Map
before hiking at the reservoir during these time periods.
